Paint + Clay

We wrapped up our clay mini series this week! The whole class enjoyed revisiting their pinch pots and self portraits. We broke out the paints and invited them to decorate! 

As we worked, we reflected on the techniques we used to make the pots and self portraits. We compared and contrasted some of the features on each portrait. We saw a long tongue on one (which made us giggle). Something they really enjoyed was watching the clear water turn different colors as they cleaned their brushes, they kept wanting to identify and name the color :) Find some photos from the day below!
