~What I Like~

We had an AMAZING first week of Uniquely Me! We began by introducing the class and sang some songs together. A classic is “I had a Little Turtle” and while traditionally his name is Tiny Tim, TODAY we all named our own turtles! Here were some standouts:

Next, we focused on “What I Like” and had a lot of fun exploring our preferences and interests. We headed outside for a little game of This or That. We started on the yard in one group, then shouted out two options like Dog or Cat and Polka Dots or Stripes while pointing in two directions. Then the kids ran to the side that represented their choice. We’ve got a lot of dog-lovers in this crew!

After, we went inside for our talent/share show. We weren’t hurting for razzle or dazzle here, it was amazing! We broke out a karaoke microphone (which really enhanced the experience) and watched as each child took the stage. It was sweet to see the group be invested in what their friends shared and demonstrated! We saw soccer tricks, counting to ten in Russian, drawing, and a science experiment! Can’t wait for next week :)
