Meet the Team!

Lily Siegert

I received my bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and went on to get my master's degree from the University of Colorado Denver in Learning, Developmental and Family Sciences (a mouthful, I know!). During my graduate program, I completed a teaching residency at Boulder Journey School. I fell in LOVE with the Reggio Emilia Approach there and have since taught in several Reggio inspired schools.

I’ve worked with children across the country and have identified one unwavering tenet of childhood: play. Play is timeless and universal, enduring yet adaptable, and I love designing spaces where play can flourish.

Though I was born and raised in Colorado, Los Angeles has had my heart since I first hopped off the plane at LAX in 2013. After visiting, it became my dream to attend UCLA, and I was lucky enough to study Economics in the hallowed halls of Westwood. Now many years later, LA has not lost its shine for me.

Play is a lifelong endeavor. Through play, children learn to delight, discover, and hope, actions humans should never grow out of. My desire is that play will be reimagined for both you and your child as you work with Little Kingdoms!
