Wire + Beads
We started class this week by talking about patterns and identified which shape/number/color came next in a sequence. Then we moved into work time with wire and beads! We strengthened our fine motor skills by threading the wire through different colored pony beads and offered some color patterns to the children looking for a challenge, see below! Sequence and pattern making/identifying are pretty foundational STEM concepts, so it was fun to watch the class sort through these ideas together. We ended the day with a few necklaces, a crown, and two fishing poles : )
